To give Venturers and Rovers Rappelling experience and training with the hope of
developing qualified staff for DIBC, DICC, Genesis, etc.
What:
The program will consist of training and practice of Basic Rappelling, Rigging,
Rescue and more. Participants will practice different skills depending on their
level of experiance.
Accommodations:
Camping will be outside. Each group needs to supply its own tents.
Equiptment:
First time attendees will be supplied with some basic equiptment including
2 prussic lines, webbing for seat harness.
People suppling their own equiptment must have a proper helmet, harness and/or
webbing, carabineer, standard or rescue 8, leather gloves and 2 prussic lines.
Food:
All Food will be provided.
